Sunshine Silicone Rubber
STANDARD SILICONE RUBBERS
SRS 38 Yellow - Natural Yellow
Top quality silicone rubber. Shor hardness 38.
Soft and
flexible rubber - especially good for
large undercuts. Very easy to cut this silicone due to
high elasticity and easy to see where
to make the cuts due to the colour. It will not tear if
used with caution. Large moulds cut
and wax easily due to flexibility of silicone. Really
excellent surface finish.
- Vulcanizes @170-190ºC - 15 minutes per layer.
- Shor hardness: 38
- Minimum tensile strength: 550
SRS 45/E Blue - Sky Blue
Economy priced silicone rubber. Good all round
rubber
with Shor hardness 45 - however
lacks the strength of the Fuchsia Pink. This can be
spiral cut and minimum vents are
required. Very easy to see where to cut.
- Vulcanizes @170-190ºC - 15 minutes per layer
- Shor Hardness: 45
- Minimum tensile strength: 450
SRS 44 Pink - Fuchsia Pink
Top quality rubber with excellent mechanical
properties.
Similar in hardness to the Light
blue economy silicone but with longer life and more tear
strength. Excellent for use where
a high pressure is required. Shor hardness 45 the same
as Light Blue economy. Very easy
to see where to make the cuts. Thin sections are much
stronger. Excellent surface finish.
- Vulcanizes @170-190ºC - 15 minutes per layer
- Shor hardness: 45
- Minimum tensile Strength: 450
SRS 40 Aqua - Aquamarine
Economy rubber offering good performance with equally
good mechanical properties.
Softer than the Blue economy rubber. For use where price
is the key issue.
- Vulcanizes @170-190ºC - 15 minutes per layer
- Shor hardness: 40
- Minimum tensile Strength: 450
SRS 32 “INSERT” - Orange
Extremely soft and pliable rubber for inserts
into
intricate areas which need more flexibility.
SRS 32 can be used in combination with the economy
rubbers to achieve high
performance moulds at lower prices. This rubber can be
combined with the standard
silicone to give an area around the head which is
extremely soft and easy to cut. This
silicone can be spiralled and has a high tear strength
to withstand extreme mould difficulty.
- Vulcanizes @ 170-190ºC - 15 minutes per layer
- Shor Hardness: 32
- Minimum tensile Strength: 750
LOW SHRINKAGE RUBBERS FOR CAD
RESINS
SRS
40 CAD LT - Chestnut Brown
Low temperature for CAD resin patterns. CAD rubber has
extremely low shrinkage of only
0.3% to faithfully reproduce resin master patterns.
• Vulcanizes @ 77-110ºC - 30 minutes per layer
• Shor Hardness: 45
• Tensile Strength: 450
SRS 32 CAD LT “INSERT” - Mustard Green
Low
temperature low shrinkage insert silicone for CAD resin
patterns. SRS 32 CAD LT has
extremely low shrinkage of only 0.3% to faithfully
reproduce resin master patterns.
• Vulcanizes @ 77-110ºC - 30 minutes per layer
• Shor hardness: 32
• Minimum tensile strength: 750
